Meet Astrid
My name is Astrid Moller; I have a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Central University of Venezuela, a Master's Degree from the University of Bridgeport in Human Nutrition, and another International Master's Degree in Clinical and Sports Nutrition from the University of Isabel I. Also, I have certification as a Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and as a Breastfeeding consultant in Celacma.
Nutrition is a very young science, so I always enjoy studying it. I am currently doing my internship, and I am a "CNS candidate" under the supervision of The Clinician's Incubator.
" AM Nutrition " was born as a need to provide information on ways to have a healthy diet without obsessions and the importance of learning to make good decisions when eating. Leading a healthy lifestyle helps you prevent diseases and maintain optimal energy levels and feel revitalized for much longer.

What are the steps for counseling?1.Book an appointment for free first, choose the day and time that suits you. 2. We will talk about the expectations and my way of working and we will schedule your first appointment. 3. I send you via e-mail the nutritional history to fill in. 3. Once these steps have been completed, we will have a first session in which we will discuss the habits, routines and food frequencies according to the nutritional history. 4. In addition, we will discuss the first dietary or lifestyle changes you can make that could have a significant improvement. I will explain thoroughly and give you a concrete plan to follow. 5. Together we will create a list of objectives/goals and we will work on the first two until the next consultation.

Can I ask questions between one consultation and another?Of course! This is the idea: clarify all your doubts at any stage of the learning process.

Is it necessary to have successive consultations? Not everyone needs it. The main goal of successive consultations is to achieve adherence to the eating plan and maintain constant motivation. However, in many cases, successive consultations or packages that include several consultations help you discover the root problems and work together to achieve your goals. The successive appointments you can choose how often you want them one from another.

What is the difference between nutritional advice and coaching session? As a nutritionist-dietician I have the ability to make an assessment of the nutritional status of the advisee and design the appropriate nutritional guideline for each particular situation. On the other hand, there is the approach of nutritional coaching that comes to add to get the advisee to carry out said guideline. With nutritional coaching you work beyond the food plan. It is a process through which the patient identifies and overcomes his obstacles, creates the right environment and adopts the attitude and determination necessary to achieve change in his diet, achieving, in turn, improve other aspects of himself and his style. of life (Fleta and Giménez, 2008).

Do you recommend a particular type of diet?Nope! I don't follow the trend of the moment. All those advised have different needs and requirements, so in the consultation it is decided which strategy to follow. The latter is due to the fact that not all people tolerate a ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting or a vegetarian lifestyle, to name a few examples.
